The Opportunity

This role is for creative storytellers with a knack for video and a passion for social media. As a Video Editor Trainee, you'll join our media and communications team to produce engaging short-form videos and educational clips for our digital platforms. This 6-month remote position is a great way to gain professional video editing experience and build a strong portfolio in the EdTech industry.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

• Edit engaging, short-form videos for social media platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Assist in the post-production of educational video content, including color correction, audio mixing, and adding graphics.
• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to develop video concepts and storyboards.
• Ensure all video content is polished, professional, and aligns with MENTISERA's brand guidelines.

Who We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate with a degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field.
• Must have prior social media experience, including demonstrable familiarity with editing for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• A creative mindset with a good sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
